MSTC

The Tunisian Maritime Safety Training Center MSTC was created in 2002 instead of Naval Academy Fire fighting Center.

It is devoted to the training of seafarers, particularly navy officers and the marchant navy in naval safety.

The center is dependant from the Ministry of Defense and is acknowledged by the Ministry of Transport in accordance with Article 16 of decree 1778 of August 3rd, 2002. This article determines the conditions under which seafarers should perform their functions on sea; The latter are compelled to hold a registre of the crew and related controls.

The center has facilities including confined lorkers, a large fire fighting open container, port facilities and other equipments.
