Medical First Aid (MFA)

Course Objectives:

  • Apply immediate first aid in case of accident or illness on board.

Reference: Table A-VI/4.1 of STCW code.

Conditions to attend the training course:

  1. Being at least 18 years of age;
  2. Being medically fit;
  3. Possessing a valid identification card for seafarers.
  4. Having completed the basic training course.

Reference: Article 1 of the Decree of the Minister of Transport 24/07/2006 and IMO model course (1.14).
