The National Military Mutuality

Organization :

 The National Military Mutuality is an association that enjoys organizational status and financial autonomy. It is submitted to the law related to Mutual associations. The Mutuality is managed by a board of directors formed by a chairman and seven members including a vice-president, a secretary general, and a financial manager.

Attributions:

 The National Military Mutuality aims at providing contingency and solidarity fund and also helps for the benefit of its members, their wives and their children, underage in first place, according to the conditions mentioned in its basic law. It is mandatory for every active military to be a member of the cooperative. The militaries who are retired because they reached the maximum legal age for work, those having a proportional pension or retired because of medical reasons, widows of deceased militaries may apply and enjoy the Mutuality’s advantages according to the laws regulating these conditions.

The Activities of the Mutuality

Main Tasks :

• Grant premiums as a social/solidarity aid (birth, baccalaureate, retirement, death …).

• Assistance to face some unexpected spend (medical coverage, funeral expenses, help in catastrophes, etc…).

• The organization of social, cultural, and recreational activities for the militaries and their families (the organization of trips, conclude agreements to gain advantages for the benefit of its members with travel agencies, transportation companies, hotels, recreational complexes …).

• Grant loans of social character with simple conditions (stationary loans, Aid el Edha, purchases, housing.
