The services provided by the center
Medical Aeronautical Expertise Center is responsible for the selection, periodic revisional medical check ups and expertise of candidate crew members of military and civilian in accordance with:

• Standards for medical fitness for the crews belonging to the Armed Forces.

• International standards of the organization of international civilian aviation in accordance with the 1944 Chicago Convention, including the Annex 1 and the DOC 8984 No. 895 on the aviation medical check ups.

• Standards of regulation Tunisian civil aeronautics for the review of civilian crew.

He shall, in addition to studies on examination techniques and procedures for medical crew.
It is also the training of medical experts and paramedics to practice in the specialty.
The technical center includes:

•   Service of general medicine.

•   Service otorhinolaryngology

•   Neuropsychiatry services.

•   Service and functional Cardiology.

•   Radiology department.

•   Service dentistry.

•   Service lab

•   Hypobaric chamber.

The conditions to benefit from the services of the center:

• The center's mission is to the crew of Aeronautical military, national guard, civil defense crew and other civilian agencies in case of need.

• Any institution operating in the field of aeronautics may establish an agreement with the Ministry of National Defense (Expertise Center of Aeronautical Medicine) by sending a request to this effect to the Minister of National Defense at Next: Ministry of National Defense, Bab Mnara - 1008 Tunis, the name of the institution and its nature, its headquarters and the expertise required.

• Any company operating in the field of maritime transportation can enjoy the same service center.

• Any person wishing to receive expertise should contact the center for an appointment.

• An invoice is established by charging referred to the Convention and determined in accordance with the decision of finance ministers and public health of 19 December 1996 on the setting of tariffs paid care in health institutions under the Ministry of Public Health.

  DELAYS
Delays are set according to the agreement drawn up for companies and submitting an application for individuals.
The center establishes the appointments when applications are recieaved and informs clients on the same day.
